Black color. Thin, beige head. Dark chocolate, cocoa, molasses, and coconut in the aroma. Very good balance in taste. Not overly sweet, but still feels like a dessert.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that rapidly died down, leaving only a minuscule collar of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of coconut and rum are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of coconut and rum.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and slick on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout does a remarkable job at hiding a large portion of the alcohol from the taste - it definitely seems like something that is strong, but more like in the range of 9% compared to 15.4%.

Wow! Dark and lovely with a decent head that fades quickly and leaves only spots and beads of lace. A rich nose with tons of coconut and rum. Lots of molasses and roasted grains. A thick, rich and deliciously decadent drink. Flavors are balanced and sweet with a luscious coconut foundation. The rum, oak and vanilla offer complexity and depth. Tingly and lively carbonation that stays alive as I slowly sip this brew. All this with a rich mouthfeel that is easy drinking and light. This is criminally good.
