Clear golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Mango, citrus, and malt in the aroma. Moderately sweet, fruity taste with average hoppy bitterness. Drinkable.

Pours a semi clear orange. Light foam. Hoppy mango aroma. Tart mango body. Bitter hop finish. Not very good flavor. Mango tastes artificial. Very bitter. Atleast the can is cool.

Pours a very pale yellow with the slightest bit of red. Carbonation is quite lively, though with a thin head. Aroma is mango, ripe mango. Taste is somewhat mango; aroma definitely wins out here over taste. There is a strong bitter character, unrelated to any hops that detracts. Body is light to moderate.

Magnifera Indica – from SixPoint Brewery. Single 16 oz can. In reefer at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Acquired 22/09/23, $ 3.50 (Including tax), $ 0.219/fl oz. Reviewed 03/10/23 (Review 3163). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped “BEST BY DEC 13 23”. Stored at 34 degrees at home. Served at 51.6 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 58.1 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), clear.
Body – Pale Gold (SRM 18), chill haze. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, Straw (SRM 3) and hazy.
Head: Average (Maximum 3.5 cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density. Slowly reduces, leaving a 5 - 7 mm crown and cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 3.25 – Weak mango when the can is opened – this fades rapidly. No malt, no hops, no yeast. No ethanol (8.1 % ABV according to the label).
Flavor – 3.25 – Essentially following the nose. No malt, no distinct hops, no yeast. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Ends slightly bitter with a late gastric warming.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium; slightly more syrupy than watery; average carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 Good looking brew. There is a sort of lingering mango aftertaste – too bad it’s not more overt. The ethanol is well hidden.

Magnifera Indica pours a yellowish slightly hazy color with low carbonation and a small short lived head. Has a very fruity, sweet aroma. Tastes of citrus, mango, tangerine, nectarine with a fizz. Not much bitterness and somewhat soda-pop like. A nice lingering fruit flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel is smooth. Very interesting and wifey approved. I think I would buy these again.
