Had a pint at Bar Great Harry. The beer was surprisingly close to an Irish stout. There was a rich roasted finish that was preceded by a smooth dark chocolate character and touches of dark bread crust and vanilla. It's not the most complex porter, but it is a wonderfully drinkable.

This beer was crazy looking, thick, brown, opaque, unfiltered, floaties, head, lacing, awesome. It had some roasty smells but big strong floral hop smells and big on the yeast. The taste was great, predominantly hoppy and yeasty, like a sourdough taste from the yeast. Very thick body, great, lighter carbonation. Very different for a porter, an intriguing beer.

Review taken from notes.
A - This beer pours a very dark brown color. It has a nice fluffy off-white head, that leaves some good lacing behind on the glass.
S - The smell is of floral hops and roasted malts. There are notes of coffee, vanilla, some fruitiness, and some chocolate.
T - Tastes of roasted bitterness and some sweet fruitiness. There is a nice earthy hop presence, and there is a nice chocolate presence in the finish. There's also a bit of coffee and vanilla here.
M - It has a medium body with average carbonation. It is smooth, roasty, and has a nice nice hoppy bitterness. Lingering bitterness in the finish.
O - The drinkability here is good. I like this beer a lot. It's easy to drink and goes down smooth. Overall, I like this beer, and I'd try it again.

Enjoyed on tap at Rattle 'N' Hum. Hoppy aroma. Dark and lacey. Very tasty and malting makes it very drinkable porter.Thick mouthfeel,a little sweet, significant roasting, and mouthfeel like an imperial porter.Another pleasant surprise from Sixpoint.

A: The beer is near black in color (traces of amber are visible near the edge of the glass when it is held up to the light). It poured with a thin beige head that never completely faded away and left lacing running down the edges of the glass.
S: There are aromas of floral hops in the nose along with notes of coffee and hints of roasted malts.
T: The taste has flavors of dark malts with a slight amount of roasted malts and notes of chocolate and coffee. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a bit of dryness in the finish.
D: The beer is rather easy to drink and is a good representation of the style.
