Impressive initial head that recedes quickly to surface film. Plenty of tiny spots remain on the glass as the beer is consumed. The color is darker amber with a significant haze.
The smell is earthy with a touch of caramel, though it isn't at all sweet. Later, the aroma of cinnamon (and maybe vanilla) makes a presence. No notable hop but the overall effect remains complex.
The taste has more Christmas cookie flavors--cinnamon (sugar, as it now is sweet), nutmeg, clove, and candied ginger. Above average carbonation cuts into the heavier body. The finish is similar to Christmas Stollen Bread, like cinnamon coated raisins. The aftertaste dies off quickly. Overall, it checks all of the right boxes for a Winter Warmer.

From Beer Drop, best by March 5th 2024.
It pours a clear gold with a finger of foam, plenty of lacing.
The smell is cloves, cinnamon, some citrus.
The taste is wacky. Cloves and cinnamon with some citrus and,to me, there's no harmony in the flavours.
Medium bodied.
Not for me.

Sixpoint Brewery "Wintry Fix"
12 fl. oz. can "BEST BY MAR 5 24 PBG23248 00:51FL"
$2.79 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: A rough pour has brought up two finger widths of off-white lace atop a clear, amber/copper colored body. The label lists cinnamon, clove, orange peel, and star anise as the spices in it. I get everything but the orange peel in the nose. It's not too bright, which is nice, and I don't expect it to be overspiced in the flavor. Having said that, and tasted it, I was correct and the spices aren't overdone. They're light but present and clear, I even get the orange peel. There's not a lot of malt there either though, so it's balanced and it works, but it is a little odd because I'm used to a little more malt in a spiced beer. This is, of course, a "winter lager" with a little more emphasis on the lager side of things. Having drank a bit of it now I'm used to it and it's really quite charming. It's nicely balanced, well rounded, easy to drink, and refreshing. I will note, however, that the more I drink the more the spices seem to build on the tongue and I wonder if a second one would start to become a bit much. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. Unfortunately the head didn't hold up to well and the lacing is lacking. All said I'd go for this one again.
