It was a long day of black diamonds or...let's be real, bunny slopes. You're wanting nothing but to sip, to chill. Enter bone chiller. Smooth, easy, some bright tangerine notes and just a hint of winter spice. Instead of your next wipeout, be chill. Grab a bone chiller and leave the yardsale behind.

Giving a new look to winter beer, Sixpoint begs grandma for her Florida citrus and a firm cereal base taste to fuel their New York chilly weather.

Pale and cloudy gold, Bone Chiller looks surprisingly bright while a musty and floral scent swirls about the nose while a first sip and whole wheat adds a sourdough character with a light pastry underpinning. Citrus of orange peel borrows hints of lemon and green apple to flirt with sour ale character. Light in hops, a mild grassy, earthy and musky brine sets up a tangy finish and a sourdough aftertaste.

Medium bodied, bright and grainy, this grog of a beer is just as characterful as it is curious, giving off subtle Orval vibes.

Tangy tangerine and flowery hops aroma and great golden look with fluffy head and ample lace. Ginger notes and spicy profile. Tasty brew with a complex taste and slightly bitter finish. A nice brew!

The pour is a dark golden color. The taste is orange peel followed by some bready malt and some hints of spice are in there too, maybe some ginger & nutmeg. Overall, this is not what I think of when I want a Winter Warmer ale. I prefer something darker & maltier. Cheers! B

Pours golden in color. Nose is tangerine peel and very strong. Taste goes downhill. The flavor seems very chemically derived and forced. Somewhat of a metallic flavor on backend.
