There are at least seven (7) different Sixpoint Enterprise ales, one-of-a-kind brews served mostly at brewery events and tap takeovers.

Enterprise Ale #2 is described by the brewery as a "saffron-tainted pale ale has a sunny, orange color and a hint of spice. With rye malt, Glacier and Sterling hops, and saffron threads added at flame-out"

I'm inclined to think of this as an English Pale Ale and not an American Pale Ale, but the style is not certainly determined.

On cask at Pony, served in their 8-oz specialty glass.

Appearance: Bronze-polished brass, hay bale left in the sun for too long. Not that much head for a cask and no lacing.

Smell: Sunflower, dandelion, wheat. Reminds of the fields of barley we drove through in rural Germany. Cake-like sweetness, some vinous qualities as well. Complex!

Taste: Not as exciting, feels like a traditional English cask ale. Mustiness, grape juice, very mild hops. Honey, fruit cake (pound cake). Astringent, medicinal. Spice all around.

Mouthfeel: Typical cask, mellow, warm, great temp. Slightly smoky finish. Not too dry.

Overall: I was expecting the Enterprise Imperial Brown brewed with the BA Bros (as it was listed on the bar chalkboard) but got this instead. Not bad but rather average/unexciting.
