Pours to a permanent white head and moderate lacing. Light Amber color. Aroma is malty and toasty with a hint of noble hops. Flavor is balanced between dry, crisp toasted malts and subtle balancing hops. Very good and worthy. Sixpoint makes great beer. Kudos to Jake's Saloon for choosing them to brew their house ale.

From 02/22/13 notes. Had this on tap at Jake's Saloon on 23rd St. in NYC. Bartender said this was a beer brewed for them specially by Sixpoint. Served in a pint glass.
a - Pours a copper, red-amber color with one finger of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Looks very nice.
s - Smells of fruity malts, citrus hops, grapefruit, toasted malts, bready malts, light caramel malts. Pretty nice nose; lot of hops and fruit.
t - Tastes of citrus hops, fruity malts, floral hops, grapefruit, toasted malts, bready malts, and some pale malts. Again, nice amount of hops and fruit.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Body is very smooth and creamy and easy to drink. Very nice mouthfeel.
o - Overall a really nice hoppy red ale; I was plesantly surprised with this one. Lots of fruit and citrus hops and easy to drink, by far the best thing on tap at Jake's Saloon.
