I had this at Strand where it was labeled as an Imperial Brown ale.
The color is a red copper color. Mahogany.
The aroma has sweet toasted malt aroma and brown sugar.
The flavor follows with brown sugar, caramel, some alcohol in the end. Bitter finish of resin, strong earthy quality.
I consider it more like a Strong Ale/Imperial Brown. It's really tasty with its interesting brown, strong ale, and winter warmer flavors, but then that's wonderful Sixpont Resin like finish with that herbal bitterness.
