Often served at The Meatball Shop, this straw-colored ale has the distinct, rounded mouthfeel of an American wheat. Sweet malts smoothly accompany a delicious plate of meatballs, thirst-quenching German hops provide balance, and juicy American hops come through on the nose.

From 05/19/13 notes. Had this on tap at The Meatball Shop in Brooklyn, by the Bedford Ave stop. 16 oz. pour in a pint glass; this is brewed specially for them by Sixpoint.

a - Pours a murky, golden yellow color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of light fruity malts, wheat, spice, biscuit malts, and bready malts. Nice nose, a little light, but nice.

t - Tastes of citrus, fruity malts, lemon, spices, wheat, bready malts, toasted malts, biscuit malts, some dough. Taste has much more fruit than the nose; a step up for me.

m - Medium body and low carbonation. Smooth and creamy, easy to drink body.

o - Overall a pretty nice witbier. Easy to drink and lots of citrus and fruit to it, would definitely have it again sometime when I come back here. Could see non-crfat drinkers loving this as a better Blue Moon.
