Soft and dense head, lasting on a hazy orange ruby color body. Nice smell, reminding me of the red rose amber ale by Baird: red fruits, a nice sweetness and a deep but not harsh chocolaty character. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. Citric at first, it got a bit annoyingly bitter and burnt. Not that much to say about it; it is just far from being as exciting as the smell and the appearance. The mouthfeel gets a bit thin after the first sip. A beer to smell and to look at.
