Bright, golden body with lots of action to the body. Compact off white head that leaves a small cover and nice lacing.

Very fruity nose, with apricots and some lemon. Bready malts with some caramel. Doughy smelling with some spice. Light, woody hop aromas.

Very creamy mouth at first, with bread and caramel flavors from the malts. Lite citrus hops. Spice and pine hops on the finish. Weird, fruity sweetness at the end, almost berry like.

Not a bad pale. Easy drinking and low ABV. It is a touch on the sweet side, and leaves a sweet taste in the mouth.

On tap at the brewery when in Guerneville, CA

Pours a cloudy copper with a quarter inch of head with great retention. Nose is hops and roasted malt. Taste brings in a nice malty sweetness up front with good hop bitterness in the finish. This beer is well carbonated leading to a nice, crisp mouthfeel. Overall, a nice little find in tiny Guerneville.

On draft at the brewpub, Guerneville, CA.

Poured a light copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and very good sticky lacing.

The smell featured a light doughy malt and grassy hop.

The taste consisted of a nice upfront sweetness followed by an herbal hop spice.

The mouthfeel was typical if the style.

Overall a tasty English style ale.

Pours a golden amber with a reasonable head.

The aroma is mostly earthy hops and roasted grain.

The taste is very balanced, Roasty and hoppy with a fairly fruity finish. This beer is not typical for the syle, being a little more aggressive than many pales and having such strong grain notes underpinning the malt and hops. Nevertheless, its quite tasty.

The mouthfeel is pretty nice. Somewhat soft, with good carbonation for the style. At least as far as mouthfeel goes, its reminiscent of an English pale ale.

Quite drinkable. The roasted grain note could be distracting, but this beer is so well balanced that it works.
