A: Pours golden yellow with a one-finger white foamy head that dissipates pretty quickly but leaves some lacing on the glass. Pretty clear, but with a bit of haze. Not bad at all.

S: First impressions on the nose are of strong oranges and citrus notes. Beneath that is a hint of yeast and spice... this reminds me a bit of an American-style witbier more than a cream ale.

T: Flavor is strongly citrus, lots of oranges and hints of grapefruit. A hop bitterness balances the palate and gives the beer a bit of a dry finish and aftertaste. If this is made with adjuncts they're pretty well-hidden. It's not hard to imagine this as a competitor for Oberon, at least from the overall character of the ale.

M: Mouthfeel is moderate-to-thick, creamy, with quite a bit of body. Goes down smooth and clean. Some hoppiness and carbonation bites the tongue.

D: I expected to dislike this beer or at least drink it grudgingly, but this is actually a pretty decent beer, probably a great starter for those looking for an introduction to decent stuff after only drinking macro products, and a nearly perfect lawnmower beer. Is it as good as Oberon? Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here....

My niece came down for a visit and brought this six pack from her favorite watering hole. I have already tried this on draft, so it will be interesting to see how this holds up in a bottle.
From the undated bottle, the cream ale poured a clear, yellowish-gold color with a quickly receding white head.

For the most almost nothing wafting to the olfactory. It does have a faint, yeasty freshness.

The ale traveled well; the flavor is rather straight forward and simplistic yet very fresh. There is a nice hoppy crispness with a nice malty complement; rather lager like as you would expect with a cream ale.

The body was rather thin with noticeable carbonation. As this is a simple drinking brew, very little lingering flavors remained on the tongue.

As with the on-tap version, this bottled cream ale was very satisfying. The six-pack was purchased directly from the brewery so it must be very fresh. By the way, the bottle states the ABV is 4.3 %.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. The label lists an abv of 4.3%.

I gave it a fairly hard pour, but the head never rose above 1 finger. The head also had very poor retention. Gone in just a few seconds. Body had a slight haze and golden in color. Wonderful smell. Has a nice taste of noble hops in the finish.
