This place was very small with lots and lots of cigars. There were coolers with some soda and waters and a couple different domestic beers. The service there was terrible. The kid was only interested in his magazine.

My girlfriend and I were finishing up our ghost and pub tour here while in St. Augustine, when we ended up at Stogies as our last stop. The bar is set inside an old house and has two floors, bar on first floor only. This place has such a relaxed vibe to it, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time inside.
We walked inside and we ended up trying two beers on tap while meeting the rest of the tour upstairs for our last history lesson. There was an acoustic guitar player singing his own music and we sat in couches upstairs in a lounging area. After the tour ended, we walked back downstairs and sat down to listen to some music.
The bar has a cooler behind it with about thirty different bottled beers. I ended up having the Belzebuth Belgian an settling in with my girl for a couple hours enjoying the atmosphere. As a cigar bar it is probably more successful. As a beer bar, it works. But the combination is why this place is a great place to stop, listen to some music, and enjoy a nice beer and cigar.

Even though neither my wife nor I smoke we thought we would check it out. The website says that they have state of the art filtration and that you won't be able to smell any smoke. Yeah right! Interesting establishment; small, dark, cozy, and comfortable. Service was excellent and the waitress was very helpful. When we first arrived no one else was in there, we ordered a couple of pints and played some chess with friends. After a while a couple of guys came in ordered a couple of cigars and did what you're supposed to do at Stogies, lit up! I think come wintertime I'll go back at try sitting outside on the deck. Overall it's a neat place, price wise itÂ’s a bit on the high side, but the place is nice.

I just love this little place, its located in the historic downtown area in St. Augustine. It appears to be an old 2 story house. Located in the bottom floor there is the bar along with a large walk in humidor filled with cigars and a couple of leather couches and chairs to sit on. Up stairs there is more intimate seating with chess, checkers and backgammon games set up. They have live Jazz and Blues at night, and a really great beer selction, many imported beers. In the winter months many times you will find groups of people sitting outside around a fire. They also serve wine, sell cigars and the staff is really nice, they are informed about the beers they sell.
This is one of my all time favroite places.
