It pours amber and clear with an off white head. If has good head retention. The flavors are a combination of biscuit and spice.

Received this ale from a friend who recently visited the
UK.
Poured amber with plentiful off white head which laced nicely. Looks like a British ale should.
Aroma is slightly skunky, malty, with slight apricot notes.
Tastes nice & malty, with the bitter English hops coming through, but not too aggressively. Black currant also is prevalent.
The mouthfeel of this ale is nice. Carbonation is medium, with some staying power on the tongue.
I enjoyed this ale, & would drink again if ever given the chance.

Orange to amber colour with afinger sized head leaving a little lacing.
A dark summer fruits aroma that isn't all that strong but is quite pleasant. There is some blackcurrent mixed with a mild nutty smell.
A dark, fruity flavour that matches the nose well, along with some caramel and mild spices at the back. It's finish is incredibly bitter to begin with, it does ease somewhat as you drink more.
A smooth ale that is quite warm & drinkable. Nothing special here really.
A nice, summery and drinkable despite not being my usual style preference. The bitter was a little to strong although this didn't take too much away from the overall experience.
