Served in hated shaker. Poured a clean, clear orange-amber color with just a thin cap of white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma had a medium malt base, which nicely supported some bright pine and citrus hops.
The flavor profile matched up nicely, just better developed and brighter.
The body was medium, smooth, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, I could easily down a growler at a cookout, or down by the bay, or while tailgating. Anywhere, really.
Overall, a very nice example of the style, certainly worth your time if you see it.
