Served in shaker pint. Poured a lightly hazy reddish amber color with about 1/3 inch of off-white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma started off with some sweet malts, and had some gentle hops in the background.
On the tongue, the beer was pretty similar, with addition of some grapefruity hops that served to balance out the malt sweetness.
The body was good, fairly typical for the style, with a nice hop bite and a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, I likely wouldn't have two in a row, but would have it again. Overall, a nice, solid take on the style. Worth trying if you see it.
