I was served a pint from the tap at the brew pub in Anacortes, Washington. The description read that this beer had an ABV of 5.5% and a IBU of 21. It stated that it is: "A smooth, blond ale, brewed with local honey and lagered for crispness. Delicate hop aromas and balanced bitterness from Glacier hops. A great companion to seafood, chicken or salad."
A: It poured a hazy lemony yellow with a sticky, dense head that retained well and left a layered dense lacing on the glass.
S: The sweet malts and yeasty white dough were dominant aromas.
T: It was very creamy and sweet with a dominant malt profile. The hops are recessive and give the beer a nice balanced flavor (almost a sweet lemon flavor).
M: It was light to medium bodied with a sweet creamy tongue and sweet aftertaste. There was modest carbonation.
D: This is a beer that complements light meals and providing a change of pace. It was the "favorite" beer of a female patron of Anacortes (she recommended it to me).
