Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy orangeish-amber with an inch of just off-white head that had good retention and above average lacing.

A bold hop explosion invades the nose. Mostly citrus, but some floral notes as well. The flavors follow along closely but the grapefruit/citrus is much more pronounced. The rye used in this beer doesn't really show up at first, but on the finish there is that tart rye edge.

The body is typical for the style, perhaps a touch fuller than average. Drinkability is also typical, but it seems that perhaps having more than a couple of these in a row might be easier than with some other examples of the style. Overall, a pretty good beer, worth trying if you see it, and worth a road trip if you live in the PNW. Solidly recommended.
