This is also known as Nut Brown Ale. I had it on tap March 27, 2015 at the brewery restaurant which is Tulip Festival time. Handsome red-brown brew with an ample foam. Spritzy on the tongue with a light body.
Some malty sweetness with a touch of caramel, and possibly a bitter note at the finish. An admirable modest brew for quaffing. Utterly gulpable and innoffensive and right in the lower-ABV Brown Ale range.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, reddish dark brown with a thin tan head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma was malty sweet with just a hint of hop spice in the background. The flavor was similar with the mated grains being dominant. The beer also had a tangy finish.
The body was very good, smooth and tongue coating, without being sticky. The drinkability was also very good, this beer slides readily down the throat and having multiples would be a pleasure.
I'm not sure how long this beer will be around, I wouldn't expect to see it much past tulip season, so you should try it as soon as possible. Another fine job from ABC.
