Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color with just a thin cap of white head that had low retention and very light lacing.
Lots of pine hops in the front of the nose, with just a light trace of citrus in the background. There was not a really noticeable malt profile. Same on the tongue, pine upfront, citrus on the finish, no grain.
The body was thinner than I enjoy for a Pale, but was designed to showcase the hops, so, here we are. Drinkability was very good, my pint was gone quickly, and there will be more in my future. Overall, a very nice brew that borders on a must try during the fresh hop season.
