On tap at the brewpub on 7/24/12
My intention was to review only the Big Red IPA but after my wife pointed out that the Raspberry Blonde Ale was made by dumping raspberry syrup into a pint glass and then pouring the regular Blonde Ale into the glass. I decided right there to tick-up the tasting flight by allowing only one line from my steno pad to each beer.
Irresponsibly-deserved Tick #5
A) Yellow. No foam.
S) Weak aroma - adjuncts, grains, watery light fruit.
T/M) Tastes a little better with a tingly finish. Fizzy, rolling grains. Nippy carbonation.

Your typical blonde, it had a nice (average) straw coloring with a decent amount of head and good lacing. It did have a very pleasing scent, very fresh and malty. The taste and feel were average, nothing to brag about, but nothing to really complain about, either. Like many of their brews, worth a try, but not necessarily more than one.

From a sampler at the Indy location: Called "Indy Blonde" at this locale. This is standard stuff here. Light golden color with a small fizzy head. Light hops aroma. Light and crisp body with a run-of-the-mill watery hops flavor. The finish is kind of weak too. Not really worth your time.

Called Washington Blonde in Puyallup WA Big Horn. Lt gold color. Light taste, Light hops and malts, clean and crisp. Good balance, clean mouthfeel. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. TYpical blande ale. Not much flavor and kind of sweet.
