Served in a tumbler at Mundelein Brewfest 2014.
Returning to the Ram table in order to get a hop injection with this DIPA. It pours a clear sunset brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises pine resin, mild caramel, light honey, mild grapefruit rind, and a touch of green grass. The taste brings in more of the same, the blunt pine resin threatening to stretch its strongman influence out into the countryside to pacify the peasants. The body is a straight medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a decent little DIPA. 'Nuff said, really.
