Despite a primising description ("Historic St. John’s Church and winter red ale inspired . A balance of German malts and hops. Lower fermentation temperatures provide a crisp clear finish. Look forward to a honey , biscuit , caramel malt profile that’s perfect for the season. Prost!" from http://www.theram.com/locations/in-indianapolis/) this was very much akin in all regards to their amber ale, and only marginally more favorable on the palate.
