A: Hazy translucent brown ale with a creamy off-white head. The head dissipated quickly, but left nice lacing.
S: Caramel, toasted malts, and some spicy hops.
T: Sweet upfront with toasted malt showing through the middle, finishing with moderate bitterness. Hops really not very noticeable other than the finishing bite.
M: Nice medium bodied beer with decent carbonation.
D: At first, I felt this was a little sweet for my taste, but the more I drank, I noticed the residual bitterness balancing everything out as well as the warmth of the alcohol. This is a sipper rather than a quaffer. Overall a nice offering for a winter ale.

Dark mahogany brown in colour with a tremendous frothy tan head.
The aroma is subdued but its quite malty.
A very nice tasting beer,malty/chocolaty flavours envelope the tongue first, its quite creamy. Then an alcoholic bite which again is nice and a small burst of hops at the end. Long lingering bitter aftertaste.
Very nice on the palte..creamy.
Good drinker appeared to be quite strong though.
