Sampled from a growler from the Humperdinks on Northwest Highway in Dallas.
Pours light to medium brown with a white head. The aroma is nutty with some coffee. The flavor is very nutty, possibly hazelnuts. Good toasted malt character as well as some light coffee. Dark fruit and brown sugar. Light-medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Another beer served ice-cold. Grrr.
Appearance: Reddish-brown, with a tan head and very nice filming along the side of the glass.
Aroma: Nutty, slightly roasted malt.
Flavor: Roasted malt, full-flavored and slightly sweet, with a good hop bitterness underpinning the beer, though emphasis is on the malt. Finish is a touch spicy and even a little acidic.
Mouthfeel: Creamy texture, moderate body.
The best beer I had there this trip. A nice interpretation of Brown Ale.
