I tried this at the brewery. It poured a golden clear with thin white head that did not leave any lacing. The scent had touch of bitter hop. The taste was nicely balanced and very easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Shorty at brewpub. Dark, but clear, amber, small foamy head, streaky lacing. Malty aroma hints at some rye funk. Taste brings the hops in the mix, adding bitterness to the Savory/ spicy rye. Nice overall, could use more heat.

Caramel, bready start. Dry finish. You can taste a hint of rye on the start as well. Wanted more of that "warm" essence that winter beers have but not bad considering everything.

Full bodied, great juicy hop nose and taste. It is the only beer from these guys that I actually wanted more of... and was disappointed they didn't have a crowler of. Proves they can do good beer, now they just have to do more.
