16oz can, purchased freshly from the release in Schaumburg, poured into a 16oz stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 1.8.2017, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a hazy copper color, orange hues, bright gold when struck by the light with a foamy finger of white head, decent retention with nice soapy lace. The aroma is very herbal and tropical, signature Mosaic hop presence, pretty juicy fruits, earthy and green hop, piney and sappy, sweet yeast with pale cereal grains. The flavors are good, tropical hops, lots of pineapple, herbal and dank floral character, light pine and resinous, sappy, green hop leaf with cracker malt and sweet NE IPA yeast, doughy malt and mineral water lingers. The mouthfeel is coating and creamy with a lively, medium body that has nice legs and a dry finish.

Verdict: A solid DIPA from Ram, I was really looking forward to this after Juicy, but this one was more "pedestrian", still a very solid entry, but just feels darker, muted and more earthy, which doesn't really resonate with my palate. I'd probably suggest that if you LOVE Mosaic as a hop, you'd love this, but for me, this is "just" an above average beer.

Was very impressed with this beer. Bare bones review will tell you that this is a juicy, citrus double IPA coming from the Midwest, but tasting like it came from the Northeast.

Pours hazy, dark yellow and orange with half finger head and glass lacing. Nose is OJ, light rosemary, pineapple. Taste is mostly OJ with peach and some watermelon. Some dank hops in the background, but this is mostly a juice bomb. Lemon on the finish. Mouth feel is full and creamy with good carbonation. Finish is very full and juicy with bitter aftertaste to quench the candy flavors that dominate mid palate. This is worth the trade. Get it if you can.

L - the haze is real. Dank, glowing ball of milky murk. Copper orange. Great can label too.

S - deep-rooted, pungent melon and mango. Dropping, oozing, orange candied hops. Subtle orange cream popsicles.

T - herbaceous green pineapple and orange juice. Hard to believe this is mosaic! So much brightness and juice instead of the usual doom and gloom. Dank, with fringes of candied citrus. Little bummed that the flavor wasn't as potent as the aroma though. Thankfully, that smooth orange cream is poking through at the end. It's not in your face like some NEIPAs but rather it sneaks up on you. Overall a very luxurious flavor. Leaves a fair amount of bitterness in my gums, which serves as nice contrast between the juice.

F - didn't think much of it at first, but the more I drink, the more I'm impressed with how well it suits the beer. It's not heavy at all; rather more on the light side, but is creamy as can be. Smooth criminal. Erotic much like a nice sex dream.

O - mosaic has such range. Anything from the dank cereal grains of hell to bright, juicy lusciousness. In this case the latter! Soft and looming in flavor and general feel, much like the morning fog.

This is my third and final Morning Fog received in a recent trade. Though I have enjoyed this beer I am honestly left rather unimpressed.
Appearance is turbid and hazy with a respectable frothy head. Aromas don't much resemble a beer let alone an ipa. This smells like straight up Sunny D or orange vitamin water. Some my like that but I personally think it's gimmicky or novelty like. Flavors are mixture orange juice, pineapple juice, Pina colada, and mosaic hops. Feel is nice and creamy not bad. Overall, I know some like this style of ipa but for me it just doesn't remind me of beer but more of a citrus flavored alcoholic soda.

Pint can poured into an oversized wine glass. Juice bomb! Tasty citrus on the palatte and nose. Beautiful haze, not as bitter as I am used to with some of the big NE PLAYAHS but that is fine by me. Shaun does it again!
