An American style IPA, combining the distinctive and assertive citrus flavor and aroma of amarillo hops with a crisp, pleasantly bitter finish.

Dark straw color with almost no lacing. Holds little nose yet bright hop forward flavor. Citra is very present in this one. Better mouth as it warms.

a sturdy and malty ipa here, but a balanced and well made beer. i think the boise location is super underrated, both as a maker of beer and as a place to hang out when the patio is open, i always have a good time here and there beer is better than average, this might be a little uninspired, but its quite well executed. nice brick red tone to it, a frothy beer mustache worthy off white head on it, and a strong nose of northwestern piney hops with a little bitter citrus and light biscuity character from the grain, clean and fresh. the flavor is pretty bold here, pungently fresh hops with a light spice to them and a woodsy character, maybe cascade and centennial, maybe a little simcoe, i get some grapefruit flesh as it warms up a bit, higher alpha, resinous, fresh, really appealing even if familiar. the grain balance is nice because its flavor without sugar, not all caramel forward and rich, its lightly toasted and earthy, a gentle cereal thing to support the hops, well proportioned. medium bodied, nice and bubbly, a little bit of lingering hop bitterness at the end, but quite clean. overall a professionally done beer and an ipa any fan of hoppy beer will enjoy. especially nice with their buffalo cauliflower wings in here, which are so good they make me not even miss the meat!

Pours a dark brown amber.
Toffee, caramel, and sweet.
Malt bill is strong here with strong sweetness, but a never ending bitter finish.
Medium-bodied, low carbonation, lasting bitterness.
Overall, definitely a swing and a miss.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a copper clear with white head that left some lacing. The scent had touch of bitter citrus hop. The taste was bitter citrus leaning but was drinkable. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Nice unfiltered look. Exceptional lacing on the glass. Everything else is average about the beer. Skunkky taste. Unripe grapefruit predominately. Pine notes. Average viscosity in the mouth. Decent hop finish. Smell of citrus. Ok beer.
