Very hazy, pale, straw-colored pour with an orangish tinge. A small amount of tight, nearly-white foam with a bit of cling to it. Even after warming a bit, the nose was rather weak, though the mix of grainy malts and spice was pleasant enough. Taste is pretty typical for the style--grainy/bready malts with a good dose of coriander and some orange flavor present as well. There's a harder-biting spice there too, rather like black pepper. Mouthfeel is crisp while also being chewier than expected. A pleasant enough witbier, and the best of the brews I sampled at RAM on this warm evening.
