enjoyed at the boise location on tap, listed at 7.6% abv when i had it, a sort of hazy resinous ipa with some bite, my wife liked it enough to have two of, i found it slightly sweet, but the hop profile is great, and this seems pretty contemporary for these guys, ive liked their new ones lately in a couple of recent visits. slight bronze color to this, a little richer on the grain side, not insignificant haziness, notes of baked bread and whipped honey there, which set up the hops really well, weedy and with notes of candied pineapple, orange, and mango, quite juicy but also sticky and bitter, big but balanced in the flavor and with an ever so subtle yeast element peaking through, intentional or not, short of phenolic but there is something there. just a bit of that is there in the taste too, but its hoppy enough to not really matter, papaya and juicy orange, a little tropical before it goes all weedy, dried peach and lemon peel too to me, lightly perfumy, real good hop profile on this, super bold but the beer overall has good balance, a nice recipe. perhaps just a little messy to me, but the hops make it, and i like it having some bitterness among all the dry hop character, best of both worlds sort of ipa here, distinctive and a little odd, but maybe the best beer we had in here this time. sturdy and captivating.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at the Ram Restaurant and Brewery on May 25, 2018. Brewed from organic grains that lend a mellow, malt profile to create a hazy, copper-hued IPA. With potent additions of citra and simcoe hops that create billowing aromas and resinous flavors.
