On tap at the brewpub on 7/24/12
My intention was to review only the Big Red IPA but after my wife pointed out that the Raspberry Blonde Ale was made by dumping raspberry syrup into a pint glass and then pouring the regular Blonde Ale into the glass. I decided right there to tick-up the tasting flight by allowing only one line from my steno pad to each beer.
Irresponsibly-deserved Tick #2
A) Cloudy pale gold. Some foam and drippy lace.
S) Wheat and clove.
T) Sweet wheat taste.
M) Light body. Fizzy carbonation.

18 oz "pint" at The Ram,Salem Oregon. $5.00 Pale yellow beer, slightly hazy with a small white head, that fades fast to a clinging lace. Actually the aroma was better than expected, nice spicy/coriander somewhat phenolic with a good ’wheatiness". Taste was similar to the nose but quite peppery ( black peppercorn) which lent to drinkability. Nice light palate ..correct for hot August early dinner. Really surprised..a nice tasty wit

A cloudy yellow in appearance. Smells strongly of coriander and freshly harvested wheat. Taste is bright lemon up front followed by a bready middle, and a long spicy sweet after taste. Mouthfeel is rich, low carbonation. Overall a great wit, I would get it again.

The wife never wants to go out when I get off work.... well.. she was hungry.... cheers to "no food in the house".
Served way too cold in a frosted glass... grrrr... big stark white head with nice retention and lacing... typical cloudy pale gold...
nose is a full of ramrod of coriander... not overdone.. but close.. some minor orange peel and a bit of yeasty phenols.
flavor has the same abundance of coriander.. it seems almost antiseptic/mouth numbing... still tastes pretty nice.. the orange peel is there too, but reminds me more of the sweet orange as the bitter, I could be wrong... a good wheaty twang with a tad more malty sweetness than you would expect in a witbier... mouthfeel and carbonation are about perfect.
overall a very nice take on a style... seems a bit out of place during the winter months, but it was the only thing on the board that looked nice.
Good work Kevin.

Serving notes - on tap at Murphy's Steakhouse, Boise, ID. Hefe glass.
Aroma - coriander, orange and yeast leap out of this beer.
Appearance - two fingers of brilliant white head that go down to a persistent quarter-inch. Cloudy orange-yellow.
Taste - rich esters and phenols follow the flavor. Wonderfully rich and complex. Light banana flavor on the back of the tongue on the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - full body with slick mouthfeel. Medium to high carbonation.
Drinkability - this brought me back to Munich. Great wit with nice character. I would order another.

Poured into a Pilsner Glass from on-tap.
A - Completely cloudy, (slightly tinted orange) yellow-white color with a low white head with some lacing but not a lot.
S - Orange peel and coriander spiced with a clean wheat aroma and slight banana esters.
T - Lightly spiced wheat flavors with a crisp yeasty finish. Very refreshing here.
M - Light and crisp with a very light body finished with a moderate carbonation bite.
D - Very light and crisp - good for the style and easy drinkable especially for a summer beer.
