Served in shaker pint. Poured a cloudy orange-yellow color with an inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma did have a bit of malt/grain showing through, but dominated by the big, bright, citrusy hops.
Same on the tongue, some grain, but just a nice, big blast of classic C-hop goodness, and solid bitterness.
The body was the typical medium-full of the style, with a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, especially if one is in the mood for "Classic" American IPA.
Overall, a pretty version of the style. Get you one when you take a break from shopping at the outlet mall.
