On-tap at the brewery, nothing wrong here (not expecting incredible things from a sub-5% hazy and this is right in line with those expectations); light haze on the body, notes of citrus and mango balanced with a moderate malt presence. Eas enough to drink.

a very light session pale type with a little haze to it, still easy to drink, just a tad more modern than a lot of their hoppy stuff in here, fresh and tasty, simple in a good way, not a whole lot going on, but i dont wish for more, sometimes this approach is just right for a pale ale. not real hazy, but also not real packed with crystal malt, so there is a lightness to this visually that i like, average almost inch of white head on top. the nose of this is a little bit spicy to me, fruity still too, pineapple and melon and orange zest, but also with some herbal kick, not quite green or overloaded, but with some bite, light as it is on the malt side. the flavor is like that too, a simple pale barley base it seems, maybe just a tad richer than that, but dry the whole way, so this is balanced but not to the point the beer isnt still hop driven. again center of the tongue spiciness and bite from the hops, even though this is drinkable, not too intense, but it hits in a certain place, amarillo hops sometimes do this to me, stay longer than welcome, but its maybe specific to my palate, and not at all a knock on this beer, i actually kind of like letting some of the higher alpha pungency creep in to a pale this basic. good carbonation, finishes just off dry, and overall is solid without really being a wow beer.
