Draft at the Ram- Meridian. Golden pour, light haze, lasting skin of head, lacing. Hoppy aroma leaning on the pine. Taste brings forth orange and tangerine, sweet, light zesty notes, trailing off towards a mild piney finish. Oily feel, lingering bitterness.

tasty new one from these guys, got me excited now that there is a little snow on the hill. cool that this is so hoppy but also so low in alcohol, i think they did a nice job with it, pretty modern hop profile too, not usually what we associate with the ram, but here we have it. golden honey colored brew rather clear and with a standard issue inch of white head, good carbonation visible, and high shine. looks the part. smells like ripe melon, pineapple, and key lime, just a bit of northwest pine character in here too, all real fresh, nothing forced or overdone, good proportions, balanced without being objectively malty. the flavor is great, real fresh, definite tropical vibes to the hops, mango juice and even peach, pine and danky weed, resinous and a little sticky but light compared to many of its peers, and only middle of the road in terms of bitterness despite being promoted as west coast style here. just a wee bit of honey sweetness to the grain which keeps this soft and smooth, and the carbonation is high, so this feels right. i like it being a little more sessionable than is trendy in the style right now, and i think this is a great addition to their lineup, certainly their most contemporary hop profile i can recall...
