Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
Well, I've had the regulars, so let's go after the seasonals with the steak, eh? This one pours a mostly clear garnet-amber topped by a half-finger of short-lived off-white foam. The nose comprises orange peel, orange zest, light lemon zest, and stiff caramel. The taste holds notes of toasted caramel, orange peel, light black pepper, and light flowers. The body is on the lighter side of medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a decent Irish red, but nothing really much to celebrate here. Good, not great.

Pours a very nice reddish-copper color with decent head, although not much in the way of lacing. Nice scent, decent sweet malt tones with a hint of caramel. Nice taste, good caramel, excellent thick sweet malt, and a nice tang at the end. Goes down quite well.
