Served @ The Ram downtown Boise.
A: Hazy golden orange, with a soapy off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing.
S: Light citrus hops, grapefruit peel, light floral notes, sweeter malt backbone underneath.
T: Fairly hoppy, more pronounced hop characters than the Ram's regular pale, the 71. Citrus and grapefruit, with a fair amount of bitterness and a touch of dryness as it finishes.
MF: Suprisingly close to medium bodied, and well-carbed.
O: Pleased at this hopped-up version of an APA. It seems like the Ram isn't nearly as adventurous as Sockeye or TableRock (especially when it comes to hops) but this beer is respectable. It has a good amount of flavor and nice hop character while remaining quite sessionable.
