neat to see a little more innovation on the beer menu here during our recent visit. the boise location still has one of the best patios in town, sleeper pick too because its always open. this is a sold india pale lager, hop bitterness is there, but its more dry hoppy to me, aromatic and juicy and modern, a perhaps unexpected style for these guys, but its good. looks like a beer, yellow, frothy headed, clear, basic but proper. the nose on this comes in with meyer lemon, spruce, and good hash, and it stands out as fairly dank in the absence of a lot of grain, pretty simple there, could just be pale two row base malt, but its enough. the lager yeast is also pretty minimal, really close to neutral in this, so its all about the hops, but its not our of balance and the freshness is apparent. the flavor has early onset hop bitterness, weedy resin character, grapefruit and some middle sweetness before a drier, grassy finish with a light biscuit note from the grain. some lightly metallic back end character as it warms, beyond a mineral profile, but its only there for a flash. lighter medium bodied, fermented pretty dry, seemingly well lagered, near crisp, very flavorful from the hops, and a cool release for these guys. i was stoked on all the new ones when we were in this time!

Draft at RAM- Boise. Clear golden pour, filmy white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy. Taste amps up the hoppiness, bitter, biting, and overall a little harsh
