easy drinking, somewhat almost oversimplified to me, only lightly european, and just a tad sweet as well, but drinkable and without frills, and its been cool to see so many new beers pop up here recently, they seem to be on a bit of an innovation role, cool! this could be a little cleaner than it is, but i liked it fine anyway, especially coming off a filling and spicy dinner, nothing wrong with an easygoing brew to wash it all down. perhaps just a little more grain color to this than expected for a pils type, and it does carry with it some sweetness in both aroma and flavor, but its plenty short of like nutty or toasted ranges, but its the grain that leads the way here for sure, the hops seem subtle to my senses, and the yeast is mellow even though its not totally neutral, seems well enough lagered but lacks real crispness, so its drinkable without necessarily being refreshing, if that makes sense. its almost not quite a pils, maybe i have that wrong, the hops seem too light for that, its a little bit unresolved in the finish, but its enjoyable anyway. more than anything its great to see some new ones in here, i think this is mild and approachable and has enough personality to not be boring. this place has long been underrated...
