Sampled today at the Rosemont location (brewed in Wheeling).
Review from written notes.
Light copper, sharp clarity. Some white foam at first that rapidly fades to nothing, not even a ring at the edge. Some carbonation streams visible.
Smells malty with a slight sweetness. Toasted malt flavor, apples, touch of brown sugar, mellow feel, lightly sweet. A bit thin and watery, not really crisp like a German lager is traditionally. Tasted pretty good, though the execution still left something to be desired.
