On tap @ the Ram's Oktoberfest Party, 10/8/11. 6.6% abv and 70 IBU's according to the brewer. Served in a tumbler.
A: Very hazy golden straw color with a fluffy, soapy white head that sticks around forever...tons of carbonation visible. Impressive.
S: Pine, orange, and flowers on the nose...very fresh and floral and bitter.
T: Grapefruit and blood orange...pine sap...floral and grassy hops...dry biscuit character as well but the malt is buried. Very bitter upfront.
MF: High carbonation but a soft, fluffy mouthfeel...lingering bitterness and a good amount of dryness but not overpowering like some West Coast IPA's
O: Really great, bitter fresh hop ale...well done Jake! Bitterness and flavors lower the drinkability some. Two of these and my palette is shot. Hop lovers, try it out!
