On tap at Ram in Rosemont, IL but this may not have been brewed there?
Pours black into a 16oz pint glass and is filled to the brim. I'm not sure why they do this here, but there's no room for any head formation and therefore no lacing. I get that I'm getting my money's worth, but it totally takes away from appearance and first impression of the beer. Aromas are coffee, roasty, chocolate, oatmeal. Tastes are roasted grain, coffee, chocolate, oatmeal, and actual grain flavors (tastes like a freshly opened bag of roasted barley - not a bad thing). Thin-to-medium body with ample carbonation. Overall, not bad, but definitely middle of the road.
