Not a lot to report but so tasty and drinkable. Held its ground as I had a hamburger along side it. Really, really enjoyed it. Will have it again. Very tasty for the low ABV. So nice to have a beer you can wrap your arms around.

20 IBU, enjoyed at the brewpub. Reddish tinge, a little head. Malty aroma. A little complexity, toasted malts, some caramel. Not that sweet. Very decent drinkability, suitable soft carbonation, and an enjoyable lager. SHows what they can do, Underrated.

Drank this beer about 30 minutes before review, notes taken on Android phone.
A. Bar maid brought it over in a pint glass, she poured a very weak head, less than half a finger. The beer itself was a pretty copper color, but no lacing and little head to retain.
S. The nose was rather simple, floral hops and toasted malt with a pinch of wheat.
T. Very sweet toasted malt and wheat combo made up the base of the flavor. There was a brief taste of hops that quickly faded into a spice and corn flavor.
M. Light bodied, the mouthfeel was decent for a hot day. It had moderate carbonation and no stickiness.

This one is quite pretty with a light mahogany body and a nice, off-white head. Theres very little aroma, but the warm malts come through nicely in the flavor making this the more interesting cousin of the Grindstone Gold. The caramel and toast malt pique your interest but are short lived, leaving you with the feeling of potential unfulfilled.
