Poured from a growler into a pint glass
A: Pale orange with a thin head
S: Hoppy, pine and citrus rind
T: Citrus, a bit floral, dry
M: Medium-bodied, crisp with a dry finish
O: With so many IPAs on the market it's hard to stand out but this certainly is a solid example of the style

tap
Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white lacing for a head.
Aroma is of sourdough bread malts, fresh citrus, and floral hops.
Flavor is of bready malts, citrus, and fresh piney hops.
Light to medium body with a light tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Considering how everybody has like three IPAs these days, this is a pretty strong entry into the style. Very nice aroma and and pretty pour. Definitely worth a try if you're here, this was the best of theirs I had.

Surprisingly solid IPA. Kind of a poor mans Two Hearted in my book. Very drinkable, very balanced like TH but not the creamy mouthfeel. Citrusy, mild sweetness balanced with a nice touch of malt. Light in color with a foamy head. Will definitely have again as Cornerstone is only a couple miles from my house and I enjoyed it very much.

4 oz sample at the brewpub in Madison.
It pours with a lovely deep gold color, clear, and with a big head that leaves good lace on the glass as it falls.
The aroma is full of hops on a nice fruity background. It doesn't have that "in your face" hopping -- it's an IPA, not double or "imperial". In other words, it's pleasant...
The hops continue into the flavor, backed up by sweet malt, some fruit, and significant bitterness. The various flavors are in good balance. As it warned, I got a hit of acetaldehyde "green apple" -- generally considered a flaw, and one that I really don't like.
It's got medium-full body, and good carbonation level.
Seems like a good recipe, with balance and plenty of hops, The acetaldehyde in the flavor kills it for me, though. I'll finish the sample, but won't order a pint. This is probably a problem with this batch, so I won't downgrade too strongly because of it. And if you are not sensitive to it, you will probably find it to be a fine beer.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Spot on and serviceable, not as promising as it sounds, seven hop varieties and all. Copper coloured and Lacey. Little aroma. Dash of fruitiness, not as complex a I would like. Big bitterness at 82 IBU. Their pale was more enjoyable.Decent drinkability.

I've had this twice; once at a 'beer tasting' event, and also at the Cornerstone Brew Pub in Madison, OH.
The beer is a hazy golden copper color, topped by a decent amount of creamy-foamy head, the consistency of sea foam. Good lacing splotches the glass as you drink.
Not much in the nose, but a hint of hop bitterness, and just the faintest of hints of malt. I think the guy sitting next to me at the bar thought I was nuts as I kept on swirling the glass and sticking my nose in it trying to come up with an olfactory reading.
The taste is hop forward, with a decent hop profile. Hops are citrus in nature, perhaps tangerine and slight grapefruit. Malt is in the background, but is sufficient to balance the beer. Not especially complex, but a decent IPA. Mouthfeel is medium, and finish is dry, but not astringent. Drinkability is good, and I could definitely see putting away 2 or 3 pints of this. However, I'm not sure I would want this as my sole beer for an entire session.
I'm so happy that Madison, OH. now has its own brewpub. I welcome Cornerstone and their brews, and when I go there, Seven will be one of my regulars.

dark ice tea color. Nice head with a moderate amount of lacing. Smell did not give me much- very little aromatic hops. This made the taste a pleasant surprise. Bright citrus flavor with a prominent malt foundation. I could have had several more but I wanted to try out their other offerings.
