Dark amber color with a thin but sturdy and consistent white cap. The nose is weak with faint of sweet smoked malts, and a medicinal tone that borders on synthetic. The mouthfeel is semi smooth with a creamy fullness. Sweet malt starts the sip and then the smokiness appears. Hops adds some peppery bitterness and a sour floral yeasty taste. The flavors overall are mild which makes the smoke easy to decipher. The bad part is that the smokiness tastes unnatural, synthetic, almost like a rubber tire taste.

A - It is a nice mahogany color. Light brown with a nice fluffy off-white head.
S - Starts with a nice whiff of smoked malt. Very light and not overpowering. Its almost sweet.
T - Nice light smoky flavor turns to sweet grainy malt. The rye in the middle makes it crisp. Light and sweet smoke finishes it off.
M - Light and clean. Little bit of carbonation on the front turns to a smooth creamy lager in the middle and finishes, not too dry but clean.
D - One of the best smoked beers Ive ever had.
