Nice looking beer. Russet, clear and clean, lacking signs of carbonation. Whispy, thin nearly white head stuggles for awhile and finally taps out.

Dark chocolate covered bing cherries with a belgian spice quality. Not much in the way of complex aromas and depth yet nice chocolatey overtones nonetheless. Roasty marshmallow, tidbits of toffee, vanilla with a bit of hop.

A little underwhelming and bland. Hints of toffee with a buttery (diacetyl?) chocolate flavor. Thin mouthfeel and weak with little presence in the way of a finish. Just too one dimensional. Some spice and dark fruits round things out.
