An interesting amber ale...
This one pours out to a dark amber in the glass with a moderate head. The aroma is that of malt, citrus and cooked grains. The taste is interesting, with characteristics of not just the roasted malts of an amber but with the slight spiciness of a barleywine. I am not sure of the ABV on this one, but it seemed higher than I would've thought for an amber. The finish is stronger, and somewhat more satifying than a standard amber.
