Appearance This is a very dark orange, borderline brown, in color with a good tan head.
Smell Theres a hint of vanilla amidst the grainy aroma. Where are the hops?
Taste This cant be a microbeer. Theres nothing here but cheap grain and the softest hint of vanilla bean. I cant pick up an ounce of hops.
Mouthfeel The carbonation is light and very nice, and theres a small bitter finish that ends the beer just right.
Drinkability This was downright sad. It is the third Pale Ale that Bear Creek has on the market now, and undoubtedly the worst. Its labeled as a Vanilla Pale Ale, and although Im not partial to vanilla in my beer this isnt the problem. Cheap grain, no nose, and a complete lack of hops make this one the runt of the Bear Creek litter.
