Re-reviewing as bored. Rather a small can, so hopefully it isn't too good as I will drink it in about 4 sips.

Typical pilsner colour. Smooth impressive head. Aroma quite heavy in malt, but balanced quite well with pruney hops.

Big smooth flavour. Hops finish reminds me a little of Radeberger, but it's nowhere near as impressive and the malt is a little heavy, in a brown ale kind of way, if that makes sense. Full, rich, creamy mouth feel, with a complex peppery bitterness in the aftertaste. This grows on me the more I drink it. Tastes of lemon, prunes, pepper, heavy malt. Overall I really like it, shame about the 33cl can.

Poured from 500ml can into pint glass. Thick white spongy head, moderate lacing, abundant carbonation, light golden color. Aroma of toasted malt, grassy hops. Mouthfeel light with dry finish. Flavors of cracker, sweet malt, hint of lemon and grassy hops. Overall: good.

Pours into a pilsner glass a pale light golden with a full one finger bone white head that has good lasting power,a fine bead to it.Somewhat muted aromas of lightly toasted bread and a hint of mineral.A dry crisp northern German style pilsner, lightly bready and again dry and crisp with a small shot of spicy hop in the finish.More of a delicate pils that's very crushable,a fine pils from my father in laws hometown.

A rare foray out of CANdy Land and into Green Bottle World for yours truly. I spied it in the cooler at New Danville 6-Pak and was so intrigued, I shelled out a whole $2.00 to give it a shot.

My pour netted two fingers' worth of thin, bone-white head that was falling as quickly as I could pour. Color was a light golden-yellow with NE-quality clarity. Nose smelled exactly as it should for the style - there was the characteristic lager sweetness initially, but then the Saaz hops made their appearance and my mouth began to water. This bottle had been well tended in its transit and the lightly skunky smell was hops, NOT light-struck. Fresh, too. No floaters or lees in the bottom of the bottle when I had emptied it. Mouthfeel was medium with a light, grassy hop flavor on the tongue. Grass and hay were the prevalent flavors. My my, this was really good. Finish was bone-dry, extremely refreshing on a hot afternoon. I would say that it is worth seeking out except that it only comes in a green bottle and you would be taking a chance on a skunked bottle.

Pale yellow gold body, alive with carbonation streams, maybe a slight chill haxe, topped by two finges of white micor-bubbles. Good lacing.

Asserive hay/grass aroma, but not skunked.

Small shot of malt on the tongue is quickly overrun by noble hops. Good thirst quenching nip at the swallow. Fairly clean finish, just some faint hop bitterness lingering on.

Light crisp mouthfeel. Refreshing and quenching on a hot August afternoon.

Keep the dreaded green bottles out of the light and you have a nice German pils with a bit of bite.

Poured from a green bottle into a weizen glass. Has a rich gold color with a 1 inch head. Aroma is mild and slightly sweet. Tasteis so-so. Hoppy and a tad bitter. Feels light and bitter in mouth. Drinkability is average. Overall this is a mediocore beer.
