A 400 year old beer style that nearly died out in the 50's was revived and has grown steadily in popularity. Pleasant sweeness and a zesty, orange citrusyness. Balanced herbal spiciness from addition of Indian Coriander. Herbal touch from chamomile. The orange marmalade for this beer came to us complements of Brother Brian at Saint Joseph's Trappist Abbey in Spencer, MA.
