I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the Lake City brewery.
Appearance: rich brown hue, nearly black, with a finger of creamy dark tan foam. I like it a lot.
Smell: dry with a bit of an ashy roast to it. Not bad.
Taste: dry with a nice roastiness and a little bit of toffee toward the end. Bordering on a dry stout, but even so I think it's a great porter.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a light, dry and tasty porter. Like I said, a bit stouty, but quite good.
